This is a must for every home library and, judging by some of the
letters and advertising received from businesses, it should be
available in every office as well.
Written with humour and a firm grasp of the subject, Lynne Truss
never talks down to us and yet makes us aware of how much we have
forgotten (or never learned) about how to punctuate an English
sentence.
A boring subject you might say, but I could not put the book down.
Of course I read one chapter at a time so I could absorb the simple
rules and why they make sense. I wonder how we could persuade
school boards across the country to include Eats, Shoots and Leaves
in the curriculum.
