Eclipse is where the first two books collide together and things start getting edgy between the Vampires (Edward) and the Quileute Werewolves (Jacob). I found Eclipse very interesting, almost breathtaking. I love how Stephenie takes the plotlines and really wrestles with them. It is very interesting from start to finish and spawned a WONDERFUL film... the best film in the Twilight series (UPDATE: It's no longer the best, Breaking Dawn Part 1 is the best... so far). If you were only to read one Twilight book in your life, read this one... you won't regret it! Truly stunning!

This is the third volume in the twilight series. I have to say that I did enjoy this book better than the first and second books because there was more comedy and romance in it. I wish that Bella would have chosen Jacob instead of Edward but she seems to think that she can have her cake and eat it too!

Although this book was at the bottom of the series for me it was needed. Loose ends needed to be tied and things needed to happen for the last book to come around. Throughout the novel I was on Team Jacob just because of the future life she could have with him but so many things are answered on the end.

After I had read Tilight, and New Moon, I had alot of questions, and was so intrigued about what was going to happen next. Well I can now say that most of my questions have been answered, which also makes me think at how the final book is going to be played out. I found that this book had a touch of some humor in it, which mad it feel almost to me like the chaerters were real and came to life right on the pages. I also found that this book was the easiest book to read in the saga. I can not wait to start reading Breaking Dawn. Eclipse was another great read for me by Stephenie, and that I hope that Breaking Dawn is Just as good, if not better as the first 3 books where.

This book was a great contribution to the series and it kept me wanting more! The movie was pretty good, but still...not as good as the book... what movie really is?

Eclipse is okay. I was sort of disappointed, though. I was waiting for something to happen. I loved the ending (except for when Bella cuts herself with the rock)!

Eclipse is a really good novel when you compare it to the second book, New Moon. I personally preferred the third book from New Moon, because there was more action and more romance. The book really brought me into its world by the introduction of new characters. The story is much more exciting. I suggest this novel to anyone who likes mystery, adventure and action.

This one was the best in all aspects of the story line. Jacob is more annoying and gets much worse by the next novel. It's pretty ridiculous, the imprinting thing, just odd. Other than that and some unnecessary rambling about nonsense, the book kept me reading for the sheer sake of the ever growing fondness of many of the character's in the story.

It was better than the second one. I liked it!

I will be one of the few people who will not write a rave review. (I'm surprised so many people continue to do so... though I guess that is the fervour of the fandom). As an adult reading this, I have heard many of the justifications people have made for loving this series... but the fact is I cannot get past seeing it as an unhealthy relationship. Perhaps I'm far too jaded or realistic, but it seems to that if Bella and Edward were a real-life couple, everyone would be trying to break them up. There would be whisperings about how Edward is emotionally abusive, controlling and hyper-jealous. He is so insecure when it comes to her relationship with Jacob, that Bella actually has to ask permission to see him and on occassion even sneaks away, evading the "bodyguards" he has set up for her. How on Earth can anyone interpret this as a loving relationship? Because he's a vampire? That's ridiculous. This novel also reveals the "imprint" gem with werewolves. Not only has Meyer cast aside the down-to-earth and personable werewolf in favour of the brooding vampire, but has condemned the poor fellow to possibly being a pedophile. One of the few characters with actual substance and animation, and it is revealed that a part of the wolf lore is that they could imprint anyone at anytime (even while the girl is still a babe in diapers), meaning that they then get to wait around until they can become old enough to become a mate for life. WHAT?! While the first novel was lovely, I think it has become clear through the following novels that Meyer just got really lucky, as I'm not sure she's much of an actual writer.
