I have to say, of all the fantasy and fairytale books and
stories that I have read, this one tops the list! Ella Enchanted is
a beautifully and elegantly written adaptation of the classic
Cinderella story, and really, I must say, it's the best one I've
read so far.
The traditional love story, when put into Gail Carson Levine's
mind for fantasy, is put in a much more comical sense, and the
characters are so lovable! I simply adore Prince Char - he really
is charming - and like, the perfect guy! And I really admire Ella
for being so heroic - I told you I liked heroes!
This story, like most fairytales, has the perfect "happily ever
after" ending and I love it! If anyone asked me for the perfect
romantic fairytale, I would suggest this - wait, I already
have!
