If you've seen my review on SHE'S COME UNDONE, Wally Lamb, you know I like a book that can hold your emotions in its hands. The way Priscilla wrote this book made me believe I knew Elvis for myself. Elvis is way before my time yet I feel a connection. Even though he was somewhat of a control freak, I loved the way he saved her for marriage. If your a romantic like me, you will have almost no trouble looking past his outragous temper and only see his gentle, romantic side. This is a book for when you have no hope for love and want to cry. Its romantic and sad and upsetting and cute and everything else a book could be. I have so much interest in Elvis now and his life. I see him in a different light now after reading this book.
