    Eragon

There are 4 books in this series and I loved all of them. They are long and full of detail, but a wonderful read. Some parts of each book I thought were a little boring because the author was writing in a non-fighting downtime. The development of Eragon’s and Saphira’s character grew well with each passing book. And the love for each other seemed fitting for who they are to each other, rider and dragon. The supporting characters are also well developed to the story and each piece fits well leading into the next book. I would recommend this series, as it is intelligently written and broaden your vocabulary.

As the title states, this is, hands down, the best book I've ever laid eyes upon. This book is what allowed me to graduate from a casual reader to a serious one. Christopher Paolini's masterpiece will enthrall you and keep you flipping the pages until you reach the very last one. Everything is described in such beautiful detail that you would swear that you're watching a movie instead of reading a book! I picked up this book in the 7th grade, and now I'm a 1st year College student and I still love to reread this book as well as the 3 sequels. But if you decide to pick this book up, beware; tears will be shed, heart rates will rise, and adrenaline will coarse through your veins!

    Eragon

Eragon by Christopher Paolini is a great book about war, dragons, elves, dwarves and much much more. It is quite the adventure book with tons of twists and turns that will keep readers guessing until the end. This book is going to be one of the greatest books of the century.
The book takes place back in the old days when swords and bows decided wars, not guns. It is about a boy named Eragon who is struggling through the winter with his family, but when he finds a blue stone it will change his life forever.

About the Author

Christopher Paolini's abiding love of fantasy and science fiction inspired him to begin writing his debut novel, Eragon, when he graduated from high school at fifteen after being homeschooled all his life. Both Eragon and Eldest, the second book in the Inheritance trilogy, became instant New York Times bestsellers. Christopher is currently at work on the final volume in the trilogy. He lives in Montana, where the dramatic landscape feeds his visions of Alagaësia.
