An excellent book, especially for students that are studing world history in school. Capsules and Appendix are awesome!

    Europe: A History

A gigantic and impressive work that attempts to co-ordinate history from 10,000 BC to AD 1991. The book contains no new research and makes no claim to any originality. Instead, it focuses, broadens and establishes a shifting narrative that can only be compared to other ambitious general and narrative histories like Spengler's Decline of the West and Toynbee's History.
