I enjoyed the last book in the Marked series. I skimmed through
parts of the first two but had to know the ending to such a
compelling storyline, so I bought the final book.
By far this book is the most well-written and interesting read of
the 3 and I couldn't wait to finish it, to finally learn how the
whole series ends. Little did I know that not only do we not get a
resolution to the love triangle which presists throughout the
entire series, but the answers to new mysteries involving Adam, Eve
and Satan are merely alluded to and never solved.
I feel somewhat cheated by the series because I was expecting an
ending. Some ending to tie the whole series together with finality.
Maybe her lack of choice had less to do with giving answers and
more to do with upetting fans or readers or those in favour of
either Cain or Abel.
Regardless I don't regret reading this series and will sadly, have
to come up with some ending in my head to satisfy my curiousity.
In short, I would have preffered and ending I didn't agree with
instead of no ending at all. For a final book in a trilogy, it left
everything to the imagination.
