Exile: The Legend Of Drizzt, Book Ii

by R.a. Salvatore

Wizards Of The Coast Publishing | March 7, 2006 | Mass Market Paperbound

As I became a creature of the empty tunnels, survival became easier and more difficult all at once. I gained in the physical skills and experience necessary to live on. I could defeat almost anything that wandered into my chosen domain. It did not take me long, however, to discover one nemesis that I could neither defeat nor flee. It followed me wherever I went-indeed, the farther I ran, the more it closed in around me. My enemy was solitude, the interminable, incessant silence of hushed corridors.

This book is my fav of the drizzt series. hunted by his own family, drizzt leaves the only life he's known and sets off with only his pet panther into whatever the world of the undredark may throw at him. Very descriptive battles and fast paced action that keeps you glued. From mind controlling tribes of levitiating, tenticle sucking brain feasters, to goblins with limbs replaced with axes and hammers, this book has it all. An exceptional read
