In book 3 of the Fever series, a number of people/fae/critters are trying to find the “Sinsar Dubh”, the ancient book that both Seelie and Unseelie fae, and seemingly everyone else who knows about it want to get their hands on, for various reasons. Mac, being someone who can sense the book, is trying to expand the number of “people” she has to help her out and back her up. She still doesn't know who, if anyone, she can really trust. In the midst of all this, Mac discovers that there is a deadline, or something big and deadly will happen. Another really good book in this series. Got even better in the last few pages, but then ended on a cliffhanger.

The third novel continues right where the second novel leaves off. Mac continues to try and find out whom she can trust between V’laine a death by sex fae prince or Jericho Barrons who we don’t know what he is. She has reason to doubt both of them, and continues to play them off of one another to her advantage. She also brings a detective from the Garda to help her find the Sinsar Dubh (a book) her sister told her she needed to find. She also doesn’t know if she can trust her follow Sidhe-Seer(people who can see the fae). Her world has just started to get even more complicated. Good third novel in this series and continues to have the sexually tidbits thrown in. I’m still interested in finding how this ends up. Dreamfever here I come. . . No pun intended.

She is frozen by Alina’s desperate words with her sister’s killer being so close. But evil is closer. And suddenly the Mac is on the hunt: For answers. For revenge. And for an ancient book of dark magic so evil, it corrupts anyone who touches it.

Okay, so I am finally hooked! This book was great! The walls come down and the gloves come off. We get to see a stronger Mac. We get to see more humour and creativity. This book is a fast read, mostly because you just can’t put it down! Page after page there’s always something happening that makes you want to know the outcome. Also, be thankful that the fourth book is already out and have it ready for when you finish this book because it has the biggest cliff hanger.

I am in love with this series . I don't want to repeat everything other people have put , so I'm just going to say WOW ,worth a read .i never reread books ,but this series I will. Thanks KMM for your amazing word play and imagination .

This series just keeps getting better and better. Picking up right where Bloodfever left off, Faefever will leave you gasping for breath by the end. In Faefever, Mac continues in her quest to recover the mythical Sinsar-Dubh with the help of the mysterious Jericho Barrons. However, she is still unsure who she can trust. After a close encounter with the fabled book, Mac learns that the Sinsar-Dubh has morphed into something far more fearsome than just an Unseelie Hallow. Also, Dublin itself appears to be on the brink of chaos as the Dark Zones continue to grow and more Unseelie slip through the cracks. As Halloween or Samhain fast approaches, Mac learns that the prison walls holding the rest of the Unseelie at bay will fall if the MacKeltar's ritual is not performed correctly. However, without the Sinsar-Dubh, Mac has no idea how to keep the barriers separating our world and the Unseelie prison in place. If you hate cliff-hangers, do not read this book. The ending packs quite a punch. However, the rest of the book will also keep you flipping the pages at a steady pace. In Faefever, Moning reveals more about the origins of the Sinsar-Dubh and the Unseelie. She also gives a few more clues about the true identity of Barrons. Yet, for every lose end Moning ties up, she adds a new twist to the story that will have you scratching your head. I thought for sure I had Barrons nailed! Guess not... Mac also continues her transformation in the book. She is beginning to embrace the Savage Mac side of her. However, she still desperately clings to the elements that defined her life before her sister's murder. Although I'm glad the girly-girl attitude is gone, I understand Mac's need to hold on to some scraps of her old life, even if that means wearing a pastel colored sweater or buying a pink bike helmet. Mac is quickly becoming one of my favorite heroines. The secondary characters in the book also become more integral to the story in Faefever. Everyone seems to have a large stake in finding the Sinsar-Dubh. Also, each character is complex in that they are all shades of grey. Not everything is black and white in this book. The good guys aren't necessarily good and some of the bad guys aren't all the bad. It certainly makes you more empathetic to Mac's trust issues. So far, Faefever is my favorite book in the series. However, I'm about to go pluck Dreamfever off my bookshelf so its regin as my fave may not last long. If you haven't started this series yet, what are you wating for? I've kicked myself enough times already for not devouring these books sooner.

I just finished this book (the 4th in the series) and I CAN'T WAIT until the fifth (and final) book is released in January! I couldn't put this series down. The characters are all so interesting and you never quite know who is good and who is evil. I love the fast pace of this series and the mix of fantasy, mystery, and romance. These books are highly addicting and hard to put down!

This was the 3rd book in Moning's Fever series and in my opinion the best so far. This book picks up right where the last one ended. Mac is still trying to find her sister's killer and make him pay. The trouble is she's no longer sure who she can trust. Jericho Barrons who has been teaching her how to be a sidhe seer while keeping secrets or V'Lane a fairy prince who wants to stop the villian who threatens to tear down the walls between our world and theirs. This was an amazing book that had me on the edge of my seat and up until all hours of the night reading. The only thing I didn't like was the INSANE cliffhanger that Moning left us with at the end of this novel.

Mac is still trying to figure out whom to trust between Barron and V’Lane. (None of her lists can help her make heads of tails of either man.) Adding to the problems that now everyone else seems to want something from Mac too, and no one is being straight with her. Mac is trying to find the Sinsor Dubh and keep it away from everyone else, find out whom her parents were, keep the walls between Fae and human worlds up, learn how to stop Voice from affecting her, find out what Barron really is, find out why unseelie are doing electrical work throughout the city, stop the Fae from killing people, not get killed in the process and get revenge for her sister’s murder. With Halloween quickly coming up Mac feels that finally there will be an end, but an end to what. Barron is in Scotland helping the MacKelters, V’Lane is with his people doing something and Rowena will let Mac come help with their rituals. On the way over Mac is stopped by mobs of human’s swept up with the unseelie and can’t get to Rowena, Dani and the other sidhe-seers. Dani calls and says that the Fae orb Mac gave them was filled with shades. Lots of the sidhe-seers are dead, and Rowena blames Mac. Mac is shocked and angered by it as it was Barron who had it last. Mac tells them to stay in the castle, as they are still safer there. The unseelie had a plan for this night, they have knocked out all the lights in the city and the shades can move freely. Everyone is in danger now. Mac manages to get to safety but she can see that walls between human and fae coming down. Mac manages to survive the night, now Mac tries to figure out what to do next. ***SPOILER*** Mac is found by three of the unseelie princes (death by sex Fae) and they make her a sex slave. (Yes, this has been foreshadowed since book 1). Once they have made her this mindless slave The Master walks in and says that she is ready to do what ever he wants, and Mac thinks to herself yes she would die for him! And then…..then you have to wait for book four. Most evil cliffhanger ending!!!!! This is the third in the series of five, and I am so caught up in it. I can truly understand all of Mac’s confusion as to who to trust. I love this because I have no idea how this is going to turn out! For me, that is way a good book/series should be. Except for the evil ending! I am so glad I don’t have to wait for book four as it is already out. Off to the bookstore!

This book left off horribly, but not in a bad way. Ireland is on the verge of destruction while Mac and Jericho search for the Sinsar Dubh. Many times Mac comes in close contact with it and discovers who is moving it around the city. More fae surround the city and dark times are soon to come. Mac feelings toward V’line and Jericho continue and more is revealed.
