I was really disappointed when I started this book. I made it to
about page 20, and that's when I threw in the towel.
The writing is dull and hard to follow, there's no development in
the characters, the dialogue is painfully constructed, and it was
extremely difficult to focus on the story because I found myself
daydreaming every other paragraph, which should never be the case
when reading a good book.
I thought with the interesting plot for the book (firefighters
burning books, illegal to read, etc.) that it would deliver
something more substantial.
