This is probably the most life-changing book I've read. I've honestly never thought about weight the same way again. Well-written, funny, and up-lifting. It also points out interesting facts and exposes false assumptions and skewed statistics. Fat! So? managed to raise a few very good questions, too. Why is it that dieting is prescribed so freely by friends, family, doctors, and professionals when it is less like to succeed than even the most risky cancer treatments? Why so health professionals continue to advocate a practice that fails 98% of the time?
