Now available as a three-volume paperback boxed set, E L James's New York Times #1 bestselling trilogy has been hailed by Entertainment Weekly as being "in a class by itself." Beginning with the GoodReads Choice Award Romance Finalist Fifty Shades of Grey, the Fifty Shades Trilogy will obsess you, possess you, and stay with you forever.

This boxed set includes the following novels:

FIFTY SHADES OF GREY: When college student Anastasia Steele goes to interview young entrepreneur Christian Grey, she encounters a man who is beautiful, brilliant, and intimidating.  The unworldly Ana realizes she wants this man, and Grey admits he wants her, too-but on his own terms. When the couple embarks on a daring, passionately physical affair, Ana discovers Christian's secrets and explores her own desires.

FIFTY SHADES DARKER: Daunted by Christian's dark secrets and singular tastes, Ana has broken off their relationship to start a new career. But desire for Christian still dominates her every waking thought. They rekindle their searing sensual affair, and while Christian wrestles with his inner demons, Ana is forced to make the most important decision of her life.

FIFTY SHADES FREED: Now, Ana and Christian have it all-love, passion, intimacy, wealth, and a world of possibilities for their future. But Ana knows that loving her Fifty Shades will not be easy, and that being together will pose challenges that neither of them would anticipate. Just when it seems that their strength together will eclipse any obstacle, misfortune, malice, and fate conspire to turn Ana's deepest fears into reality.

Do to the hype I purchased all three. I just started the third and have no problem leaving it for days at a time (typically I have trouble putting a good book down). There is very little romance or suspense - mostly way too much over described rough sex. I would not recommend this trilogy - it is disturbing. The only amazing thing about these books is the authors ability to come out of no where and get the positive hype that she has. There are way better authors to put spend your money on.

I agree its just the hype, the attraction was again the Bad Boy image with lots of money and the suspense of trying out rough sex. Loosing her virginity creates a special bond that she mistakes as benefiting her relationship. The ordinary approach (not literature type) by the author attracts bored lonely women who thrives in fantasy. Straight up & Dirty by Stephanie Klein, Ask me anything by Francesca delbanco will fill your fantasy. Other recommended writers are Suzi Landolphi,Susan Crain Bakos.Carol Lieberman &Lisa Collier Cool with Bad Boys.

I completely agree with you! Except for the porn/rough sex there wasn't much to keep my interest at all. Book one was just porn, no plot and very little character development. Book two was completely boring, predictable, and again, very little character development. Book three finally managed to get into something other than rough sex, but again a sad plot and predictable. The sex scenes reminded me more of XXX rated forum stories you would find on Hustler or some other sex magazine/site. At the end of it I was cringing every time I had to read about him braiding her hair. Really? was that suppose to set up suspense? The fact this is a hit has volumes to say about our education system's failures.
