    The best fantasy trilogy ever.

That's right folks, the best- better than Tolkien, better than Martin, better than all the rest. The characters are so vivid you hurt and mourn with them. An absolutely tremendous storyline and a beautiful writing style. Keep the kleenex handy in the third book, of course I didn't need any.

The entire set of the Fionavar Tapestry exceeds the Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter by far. I may be only thirteen- but the only books I read are fantasy and they don't come from the kids section. Out of all the amazing books that you can find in Chapters this one is a must-read. Its so good that I wish there were many sequels but all good things must end eventually.

The best trilogy since Tolkein's, bar none. These were the hardest books to put down and it was agony waiting for the second and third volumes when they were first released. Kay's characters are the most real of any I have read in any genre. The ending is sure to bring a tear to anyone's eye, even if it is just because the tale is finished and no longer part of your world.
