From the Publisher

The apprenticeship is over— now the real test has begun.

When word that Yelena is a Soulfinder—able to capture and release souls—spreads like wildfire, people grow uneasy. Already Yelena''s unusual abilities and past have set her apart. As the Council debates Yelena''s fate, she receives a disturbing message: a plot is rising against her homeland, led by a murderous sorcerer she has defeated before.…

Honor sets Yelena on a path that will test the limits of her skills, and the hope of reuniting with her beloved spurs her onward. Her journey is fraught with allies, enemies, lovers and would-be assassins, each of questionable loyalty. Yelena will have but one chance to prove herself—and save the land she holds dear.

Great End to the Series 5

Yelena and her friends have found themselves in the middle of a war, and this time Yelena can't rely everything on her magic. Her adventures continue and we get to see some new characters, but the old ones make constant appearances. Trust is hard when everyone you know betrays you. Not to mention the huge price on Yelena's head. I truly enjoyed this series, and the ending was almost perfect. It's one of those books/series that will keep you thinking about it even after you've turned the last… read more

    • Me too. Snyder's an amazing author, using imagery that pulls you into the story like you're actually there. I love this series! :)

    Fierce 5

In the first two books we see Yelena grow and face many foes that threaten to overwhelm her. However nothing can prepare you for this heartstopping finale to the trilogy. Fire Study wraps you into Yelena's life, into her hopes, her emotions and now her fears. You quickly learn that the story of life is infectious and there is truly no cure for the longing that comes along with reading such a truly remarkable book. Yelena's wild life is once again turned upside down and the threat of… read more

    Loved it 5

The first previous books keeps you wanting for more but Fire Study look like the end of the serie even if I hope for more. Like Poison Study and Magic Study the book is addictive, a page turner wich let you restless until you finished it. This book explain a lot about Yelena abilities and herself. This book didn't deceived me and the whole serie is a must read. The only flaw is that in all the serie Yelena get kidnapped too often wich make it seem like an ordinary thing.

Not as Good as First Two 3

I really enjoyed the first two books in the series but was somewhat disappointed with the third and last. I think perhaps because the entire story and novel was all about defeating the evil doers. The first two dealt with Yelena learning about her powers. She does a little in this one but still, I just didn't think it was as great as the first two. But it's still a good read.

I thought the first 2 books were better but overall this book was okay. Just like the other 2 books, there is action and a bit of romance.
