This novel goes straight to the heart with its sincere sentimental narration that provides many life lessons and motivation.

I went to the local chapters to buy "the five people you meet in heaven". They were all sold out (i want hardcover books) I saw this on one of the main stands. I never read a Mitch Albom book before, but i heard good things about his other books so i grabbed it and im so glad i did. I just finished. It was a quick, easy read but packed with emotion. After a few pages i was hooked and around the halfway point i remember wishing it was a much larger book. The closer i got to the end, the more… read more

One of the nicest books I have read. It is so touching as well as inspiring. It is so well written that the story engages all your senses transporting the reader to the main character’s (Charley) world. I believe everyone can identify in his/her own way with Charley and his mother. It is a wonderful book. I strongly recommend it.

    Heart warming 5

Really worth reading. Heart-warming tale about a child's relationship with his mother. The best of Mitch Albom by far. I like it even better than "Tuesdays..." and "Five people...".

One more day with a loved one! 3

A sweet story about having the opportunity to spend one more day with someone you love that is now gone. This short book will make you laugh and cry as you walk through this day with the main character. from the book-Because there was a ghost involved some may call this a ghost story. But what family doesn’t have a ghost story? Sharing tales of those we’ve lost is how we keep from really losing them.
