Forbidden Nights with a Vampire

Aw you always want something you can't have or at least thats how Vanda and Phil work, anyway this is book seven in the Love At Stake series and this was a great addition to the series, I found the pacing to be great and I thought the characters and their interaction was also really great and I was a little surprised how well this book turned out I wasn't so sure at first but I think this will be one of my favs from the series. Vanda has her secrets and her anger to help keep people from getting to close, but when she has to go to anger management, and Phil (a sexy guard that she use to flirt with) agrees to be her sponsor, she's not sure if she should kiss him or throw something at him. Phil suffered for eight years with Vanda's flirting ways, but now he's not going to play by the rules. He wants her and so does his inner beast, but with Vanda's past, will Phil's secret scare her away, or can he show her that she can be loved, even by him. Every chapter grabs you and you won't want to put this book down.

As usual Kerrelyn Sparks keeps you laughing the whole way through in another one of her novels in this great series. I loved the main characters; he’s sexy, dangerous, smart and also an Alpha werewolf. She’s sassy, got anger management problems, wears a whip around her hips and has barbwire around her fragile heart. But as we all know he helps her through it and they fall dangerously in love. Has a great story line, a few good surprises, a steamy scene or two and like I said a lot of laughs.

I've been reading this series from the very beginning and while I enjoyed it I also found it a bit cheesy. But I was completely surprised by this latest instalment.

After a failed lawsuit against her, Vanda is forced once again to undergo anger management and the only person willing to be her sponser is Phil. Phil was the former day guard who Vanda would flirt shamelessly with knowing that it was against the rules. Well the rules are out the window and Phil is determind to get the vamp of his dreams, but theres just one tiny problem. Vanda hates wolves and doesn't know that Phil just happens to be one.

The story was great, there were times I was laughing out loud and at the end I even shed a tear. You can also see Sparks setting things up for future books.

And I just want to say poor Dougal. :(
