Michael Harris is a well-known author and journalist. He is the host of Ottawa radio shows Michael Harris Live and Stirring the Pot on CFRA, and has been a columnist for the Ottawa Sun and the National Post. He has won the Radio and TV News Director''s Award and the Center for Investigative Journalism Award. Harris has been a judge for the Governor General''s Award for non-fiction, hosted "The Great Canadian Debate" on CTV and has had guest appearances on Oprah and Donahue. His previous books include Con Game: The Truth about Canadian Prisons, Lament for an Ocean and Unholy Orders: Tragedy at Mount Cashel. He lives in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia.

Eric Orchard grew up in Halifax, Nova Scotia. In his late teens, Eric began publishing his own fairy-tale-themed comic books. He attended the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design where he studied painting and art history, graduating in 2006. This is Eric''s first picture book. He has also illustrated Anything But Hank by Zachery Wells and Rachel Lebowitz scheduled for release this fall. Eric lives in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
