    Only the CEO of Veuve Cliquot Champagne (my personal favourite of all champagnes) could come up with a recipe using it to cook chicken! Mon Dieu!! I'm hard pressed to put a drop of that golden nectar into a frying pan but I may try the dish with a lesser counterpart. I was in Paris recently and wondered how the women did it with incredible wines and foods on every corner. You must read it to find out! Glad I did.

    I like Christine's lighthearted review. I'm just finishing the book and am enjoying the text as much as the recipes. I like Mirielle Guiliano's assertive tone, very French! I've French aunts that sound just like her....
