    Only the CEO of Veuve Cliquot Champagne (my personal favourite of all champagnes) could come up with a recipe using it to cook chicken! Mon Dieu!! I'm hard pressed to put a drop of that golden nectar into a frying pan but I may try the dish with a lesser counterpart. I was in Paris recently and wondered how the women did it with incredible wines and foods on every corner. You must read it to find out! Glad I did.

    I like Christine's lighthearted review. I'm just finishing the book and am enjoying the text as much as the recipes. I like Mirielle Guiliano's assertive tone, very French! I've French aunts that sound just like her....

About the Author

Mireille Guiliano, born and brought up in France, is an internationally best-selling author and a long-time spokesperson for Champagne Veuve Clicquot. For more than twenty years she was President and CEO of Clicquot, Inc. (LVMH). She is married to an American and lives most of the year in New York and France (Paris and Provence). Her favorite pastimes are breakfast, lunch and dinner. Her books have appeared in 37 languages.
