This is the second book in the Generation Dead series. It is about "living imparied" (Zombies) teens that come back and try to go to high school.Pheobe is the main character. She trys to help Adam, who just became a zombie saving Pheobes life. The romance between Pheobe and Tommy end when Adam saves her life. Tommy goes out on a trip across the country to promote zombie people and how they live. in the end Adam and Pheobe get together. this book leaves u with some questions at the end so a 3rd book is coming out. i give its 4/5 stars.

So courtesy of Daniel Waters and publicist I was able to review Kiss of like and I have to say I liked it. A lot. To begin, the plot is unique, or at least it seems like it is since this is a break from vampires. Instead we get to socialize with zombies! So basically in the book, we join Phoebe Kendall who had to suffer the loss of human, Adam, who took a bullet for her that was either meant for her or Tommy Williams. Which caused Adam to become undead (are you following?). And now, she has to cope with everything that has occurred since, Pete (the guy who "killed" Adam) getting off easy at the trial. Adam's rehabilitation and Tommy ( so much to be said with that one name) Pheobe's sort of boyfriend. The character development was very good in this book, which is hard to say for other books. You could really feel for Phoebe, who had to choose between Adam and Tommy (I can't even choose!). The plot was very easy to follow but I do have to say the only problem in this book was just that in the mid-section the pace of the story slowed down and not much happened causing it to be a bit (just a bit!) boring. There was just a bit to much dialogue which didn't cause much to happen. Although, towards the end, the book started to pick up (which diappointed me because that meant I'd have to wait for the next book). There was a lot of foreshadowing which lead me to my suspicions. But under all the teen angst and drama the story actually has a pretty deep meaning, which I'll let you figure out for yourself once you read it. You better read this book. It's light, and I finished it yesterday and I'm STILL thinking about it. That is the sign of a good book my friend! The dead bring all the excitement to this story. Being dead doesn't mean your not alive in this book! Go on and read this book! I promise you it won't bore you to death! This was a great sequel, with even more romance than the last one. I liked it, alot more things happened with the zombies, it was better than the last one. I loved the characters in these books, even though most of them were zombies, they were what made the book come to life. My favourite one was Tommy, he was a zombie...but at times it was like he actually had a beating heart. I liked this book because of the romance, The book started to pick up near the end which was a little disappointing, and it ended with me wanting alot more. I thought there would be alot more action with the zombies and the "beating hearts", but it just kind of ended where I thought it should have began. It was a good sequel, with more zombie romance!! Thought it could have been better, but overall I really enjoyed this awesome zombie series!!!

(OMG Indigo FINALLY changed the cover picture!!) I LOVED THIS BOOK! It was as good as the first, but not better. The character development was great, and the amount of drama and horror was just awsome! I can't wait for the third book in the series. I LOVE LAME MAN!!! He's the best!! <3

THIS REVIEW CONTAINS SPOILERS * * * * * * * * Kiss of Life has just really proven itself as a great sequel to what, I hope, will be an excellent series. At the end of Generation Dead we were left with Adam having taken a bullet for Phoebe out of love and out of terror. Then suddenly he comes back. Pete isn't held responsible for killing Adam because technically if you can show up at your own murder trial, does it even really count as a murder? I think what makes KoL almost as enjoyable (if not more than) GD is that you get to see inside Adam's head while he tries to cope with suddenly being as differently biotic as Tommy. Somehow I feel like Adam is going through the same sort of stages that one might go through had they been severely paralysed or struggling to regain movement after an accident that might render a person without the capacity to move quickly or speak. I zoomed through this story. Mostly because it was written very well but also because the plot just grabbed hold of my arm and pulled me along the way. I must say though, I don't think I will ever look at ellipses in the same way ever again. ;) dot. dot. dot.
