    Priceless!
    "Bingo!" was indeed what I said out loud after I read the book. "Double Bingo!" after I applied a few of the techniques it offers. “Tadaa!” was what came out when I first picked up the book and flipped over the pages. The sections on thank you letter, resume and cover letter writing is outstanding. Like many regular Jane Doe's out there, I have an imprecise idea of what I am good at. I know some adjectives to describe my skills and qualifications. However, I was nowhere near the effective level needed when it comes to selling myself on paper. The samples of resumes and letters help tremendously. They literally put the needed words in my mouth. They save me hours racking my brain for the right words to embellish my abilities (on paper) as a worker. Still, I don’t feel satisfied with the work I’ve done to my resume. Although I’m not seriously looking for a new job, I’m seriously considering using CareerJoy’s resume writing service. For the next step, I challenge the author to write a book on how people can find better jobs within their company. In the big-corporations world, many authors write about how to find a job from outside in. I haven’t seen one who has a book on how to find a better job from within. Everyone thinks once you’re inside, it’s easy to find a better job from within. They forget the same competitiveness that exists outside-in also exists once the job seeker is inside. On top of that, the job seeker now has to deal with office politics to get themselves known to the right people.

    Get the Coach!
    Coaching is all the rage today in a variety of fields. Alan Kearns leads the way and in "Get the Right Job Right Now!" he demonstrates why he is a leader in career coaching. This book contains essential guidance for knowing who you are, what you want out of work and life and how to get there. The investment in the book is truely doubled in the first three chapters. After that, its up to you. Getting the right job isn't always easy. My own experience was enhanced by engaging Alan Kearns as my career coach. In a way I saw the book before it hit the shelve so I know first hand that this material is terrific.
