Words cannot adequately describe how much this book touched my heart. I'm a busy new wife with 4 small children, grown children and grandchildren, so you can imagine how busy and hectic our Christmases are. We try to do things for others, have fun ourselves and all while pinching pennies. Even for us, this book was a blessing! It's packed with ideas of things to do, recipes and crafts to make, and thoughts about the true spirit of giving and receiving. I had heard before that it's about giving of yourself but this book gives practical ideas on many sensitive topics like how to be sensitive to those who are divorced, widowed, single, struggling in different ways and how to practically show them you care. Our kids have loved the craft ideas and are making most of their Christmas gift this year. They even had a lively debate about supporting local farmers and the environment by buying a locally grown tree. This book keeps you thinking and encourages you to examine why and how you do the things you do at Christmas. This year I'm looking forward with joy (not dread) to the time we'll have as a family for shopping and making presents, doing our usual traditions and just spending time together making memories. Buy This Book! You'll Never Regret It!

    Perfect Christmas Resource

Christmas arrives in a rush, and before I have time to think about meaningful family activities it is New Year and the opportunity has flown. Not so this year, because during the summer holidays I found myself reading Virginia's fabulous book while we were at the cottage. So many great ideas to run with this Christmas! Virginia covers it all, and brings the focus back to giving, caring, helping, and nurturing, not to mention a whole pile of fun. I have already ordered copies as pre-Christmas gifts for my friends. Thank you Virginia!

I cannot tell you how much I love this book. But I am going to try. Everyone should own this book. If you have ever
wondered about helping the people who are alone or ill at Christmas or just wanted to make a difference at this sometimes painful time of year, you should have this book. If you just want to make Christmas more meaningful for you and yours, you
should have this book. This book will give you ideas to have a wondewrful holiday and truly make a difference. The
author did! And don't forget to include your kids. Kids were involved in the making of this book, involve your kids by
reading it with them. Oh, and try the Lemon Bar recipe on page 210. Way to go Virginia! The world needs more loving hearts like yours.
