    what a boring story! characters were boring and predictable and many things did not make sense ! do not buy!

    This is an excellent story. McNicoll succeeds in making both the supernatural and her characters seem real, despite the fact that the main character was a little too perfect. The mystery aspect of this book was well done, and not totally predictable. The story deals with death, but not in a gory or inappropriate way. If kids like this one, they will definitely like Who is Frances Rain? by Margaret Buffie.

In Grave Secrets, weird writing on the wall and an old woman who keeps calling Nicholas "Sasha" puts our hero's fragile nerves on edge. It's more than enough to freak anyone out! But when Nicholas learns some bullies are going to break into the old woman's house, he becomes concerned. Eventually, Nicholas -- or Sasha -- will be the one to solve this strange mystery.
