I picked up the Green Bride Guide two months into my engagement
after much debating (only because I always debate buying books that
I can not first physically check out beforehand for awhile before
purchasing them) After spending days reading articles on the
website, I decided I really wanted to read this book.
I was not at all disappointed by the content. Offering still even
more information to me than I had read on the site I was impressed
with the personality and creativity that the author had in each of
her pages. She had a lot of excellent ideas for her own wedding,
and she talks about each aspect of the planning process with such a
friendly voice it makes reading the book well worth the time.
The only downfall I found while reading this book was that since it
was printed in 2009, many of the smaller business websites that
Kate had listed in the book are no longer up and running, so you
will still have to do some searching yourself, but the website
offers pages upon pages of additional sites and businesses to
choose from!
Alongside the website greenbride.com, this is an incredibly
valuable companion for any bride looking to take a walk down the
"green" aisle. Highly recommended!
