About the Author

Mark Leiren-Young  is a writer, director and journalist. His first book, Never Shoot a Stampede Queen, won the 2009 Stephen Leacock Medal for Humour. He wrote, directed and produced The Green Chain, a Canadian Screenwriting Award nominee. Mark is a humour columnist for The Tyee, where he also hosts the environmentally themed podcast series The Green Chain.
