    We read it everynight!!

My one year old loves this book! At first I thought it was because I was doing crazy voices for the animals, but even when other people are visiting, she brings them the book to read too! I am in love with the illustrations, wish I had friends like Bird does, and do not mind reading this book every night before my Daughters bedtime. I tell all of my Mama friends about this book, and I haven't heard any complaints yet :-) Great Job Mr.Tankard

This book was written to help children see that they can change a grumpy mood. We follow Bird as he begins his day grumpy and tries to stay grumpy. Jeremy Tankard has written and illustrated a great book, with fun, bright and vibrant colors. It is a great story book for the younger members of your families, or as a cure for your own bad mood.

This is a great book! Bird is in a foul mood and is determined to be grumpy. One by one his friends come along and try and cheer him up by joining him on his walk. By the end of the book Bird is feeling much better and invites all of his friends back to his nest. Who knew racoons could fly???
A great book! Perfect for elementary school, or anyone who needs a quick laugh.

    A must read!

I am in love with this book: the story, the art. Bird is annoyed with the world and ends up happy with his friends in just a few short pages. Grumpy Bird is a must-read for anyone who needs a laugh. I'm not kidding - and I DON'T HAVE KIDS. Enough said?

I bought it yesterday (Jan 19) at the retail store and I might buy a couple more because they're less online.
