My daughter got this book for Christmas, a month before turning 3, and she loves it. We don't read it every night, but probably once a week or every other. But we don't need to read it constantly for the message to get through - almost every day, she talks about how someone filled her bucket, or how she said or did something to fill someone else's bucket. It's awesome for positive reinforcement as well; if we catch her doing or saying kind things to others, espeically her baby sister - "good bucket filling!" A really great message that even the youngest toddler can understand! The world can always use more bucket fillers!

This book makes understanding social relations so easy. It helps young minds to see the value of treating others with respect. I loved reading it, and sharing it.

My kids loved this book & as a parent I love the message. It is simple but powerful and I love that my kids and I discuss bucketfilling and scooping on a regular basis.

This book is so easy for any child to understand. And it sends a wonderful message about how to treat people and how to become a happier person. I wish every child in every household had the experience of reading this book. I will be sharing it with my son's teacher so they can spread the word about our bucket-filling adventures!

I bought this book for my two daughters (aged 9 & 5) and they absolutely love the book and already started talking about filling each others buckets. I think EVERYONE should read this book ~ the world would be a brighter place if we all focused on filling each others buckets and no one was a bucket dipper. To understand what I am saying you will need to read the book! You are an amazing person ~ go fill someone's bucket!

I cannot express how much I LOVE this book. My children, 3 and 5, picked up on the language right away. It has a beautiful message about how to be a kind, caring and responsible person. I have found it useful as well with acknowledging behaviors such as "you just filled my bucket!" or "that is bucket dipping behavior, how are you feeling today?". I love it, my kids love it, and I share it with everyone I know... they love it too!
