    Worth the wait

After many years of watching my brother eat up the writings of Tolkien I finally picked up and devoured The Hobbit. What an experience! With every page the adventure thickens and just when you think the action can't get more intense - it does! Not only does this book cater to the fantasy crowd, it also appeals to the reader who is looking for a warm, coming of age type book. To witness poor, green Bilbo's push into the unknown, and unwanted, world beyond the Shire allows the reader to relate to the trepidation, anxiety, and exhiliration that accompanies each step of this journey. Why I waited so long to finally read this masterpiece? I don't know. But it was definitely worth the wait!

    J. R. R. Tolkein spins a masterful tale of fantastical adventure, whimsical characters and wonderously detailed settings in his prelude to The Lord of the Rings. This classic is for nearly everyone, but be prepared for lots of description and difficult to remember names, at which Tolkein is king.

The Hobbit by J.R.R Tolkien is an excellent book that can be enjoyed by adult or teenager. The book will take you to the first journey adventure of Mr. Bilbo Baggins helping his employer (dwarves) to reclaim their treasure and their kingdom from Smaug the nasty dragon. This is the book that you have to read from start to end non stop. It is full of life and it will take you along the journey with Mr. Baggins and dwarves. I send one copy to my nephew and niece therefore I can share with them. I hope other people realize what are they missing if they did not read The Hobbit.

    The Hobbit an Exellent Choice

The Hobbit is an excellent choice for a passtime book for you and your kids.
It isn't recomended for very young kids at the age of 1-10. Though alot of friends of mine liked it too, except my mother who said it was hard for her to follow, which is why it really isn't recomended for young kids. It's found in the fiction/fantasy section in your nearest bookstore. The book is very exciting has lots of adventure and the characters are perfectly explained, though I am a 14 year old boy and I read it, it's an amazing book and i'm sure anyone who reads it will enjoy it!
Especially those who like adventure for the mind I would recommend you purchase this book.
