Every Saga has Beginning, Every Character had a Dark Past, Some are Darker than Others.
An absolutely captivating read, it's the modern Tolkien. The intricately woven story with twists and turns all of it's own. The story explains Drizzt, the Drow's, history and heritage while hooking the reader into the series. It makes you want to read on, i recommend this book to anyone wanting an adventure, you'll finish it knowing the Characters. Happy Reading.

    Salvatore's Best Work

    Lindsay

Of all the books R.A. Salvatore has done, Homeland continues to be his best work of them all. He creates and captures the essence of the drow in this, his first book, and creates characters so real and honest that you cannot help but love, hate and utterly enjoy them. A must-read for anyone, drow fan or not.
