This cookbook is my favorite and I have a ton. Molly's style of writing had me not wanting to put this book down, and so eager to see what the next recipe was going to be. I found myself making grocery lists as I read through it. I have tried several from this cookbook and every one is amazing!
The lemon and ginger scones are so yummy and my mother raves about them and has made special request for them. Warm them up and serve with a pat of butter, perfection! I have also made them in orange/currant and blueberry, and they all have went over great! Then there is the French style lemon yogurt cake. Heavenly!! It is melt in your mouth delicious. If you dry out most cakes, you cannot mess this one up!
And the Ed Fretwell suop, aka Italian soup, wow! Served with parmesan reggiano and a glug of Olive Oil will leave you thinking you are so happy for the huge pot it made, and thanking God for cooks like Molly who share these wonderful gems of recipes! Give this book a try, you will not regret it.
