This hot and steamy book contains three stories. Usually, I find short stories less than satisfying but Fox manages to weave the three stories together seamlessly and despite the limited time (due to the short story format) she has to get the couple together, she does it in such a way that it is actually believable (and did I mention hot??).

Sara, Jenna and Megan are best friends with Cassie. Cassie is getting married and the friends have reunited in Chicago to help with the last minute wedding details. Cassie's fiance is a firefighter and he happens to have three firefighter buddies to stand up for him at the wedding. Since they are all in the wedding party, the three women have found themselves spending lots of time with the groomsmen. Not a hardship at all since they are all sexy and too good to be true. One night while partying at a club, Cassie hands the girls a card for the "Hot Line". According to the card it is an on-call service that will dispatch a 'fully equipped' fireman to come to their rescue. Needless to say, each of the three women call the number on the card and their fantasies are fulfilled by the fireman they have been longing to be with.

So the premise is a little far fetched - I mean I'm sure any firefighter that does what these guys do would be fired in a second. It's lucky there are no actual fires because the firehall seems rather deserted (which is great for having sex in the shower or on top of a fire truck but not so great if your house is burning down). Fox also uses the whole fire related metaphor when it comes to sex waaaaay too much and the firehose metaphor was lame the first time (not to mention the third and fourth times). Despite these shortcomings, The Hot Line delivers a spicy, hot read that will leave you feeling satisfied.

From what I gather it sounds like a fun, sexy read. Thanks Lokki.
