As I plan for my own retirement, I began searching for books without the financial focus. I stumbled upon Zeliski's book and was very impressed with his common sense approach to retirement. There is a lot of useful information presented in a very casual fashion. I was so impressed with this book that I now give it as a gift to my colleagues and staff who are announced their intention to retire from work.

Ernie Zelinski is one of my favorite authors, and one of the best in my opinion, in the "inspirational" and "motivational" categories.

My first exposure to How to Retire Happy, Wild, and Free was downloading over half of the book as a free E-book which are available on two of Ernie Zelinski's websites ( http://www.real-success.ca/free_ebooks.html and http://www.retirement-cafe.com/ )

It was the top half of the book, however. Although the E-book was inspiring to read, it was a little frustrating with the bottom half missing. I loved the top half so much that I purchased the whole book.

It's the best one I have read on retirement. I had been looking for a book that dealt with aspects of retirement that weren't tied up with all the financial gobbledygook.

As a personal coach who often gives advice to the newly retired, I have already purchased over a hundred copies to give to my clients and will continue to purchase more. This book can also be custom designed to fit your own company's needs. (See http://www.vipbooks.us/Promotional-Giveaways.html )

This book is not just about retirement, but about how to be happy, wild and free regardless of your circumstances. Zelinski just sneaks in retirement topics to lure unsuspecting customers into reading what they should have been reading about all along.

If you are looking for the retirement book on creating a meaningful and fun retirement, look no further--this is IT! "How to Retire Happy, Wild and Free" is more than just a retirement book; it is an exercise in finding and re-inventing the Real You that somehow got lost in the "wonderful world of work".

I just finished "How to Retire Happy, Wild and Free" and thought I would mention how much I enjoyed it. I have been in the group retirement industry in education and communication for over 20 years (I'm an Education Advisor). Most books cover the financial aspects of retirement. It was nice to read this retirement book because it didn't go there at all. I'll definitely be recommending it to my clients.
