Loved this series from start to finish.

Words cannot describe how much I'm in love with this book...and Patch :D! This book is absolutely amazing, it has everything I love in a story, its mysterious, adventurous, and thrilling, and the romance was perfect! I love this series, its definitely in my top 5! I love patch!!!! :D!!!!!

This book was a great read. It has action, a love story and mythical creatures. I really feel in love with Patch. He is a great character who is so protective, it's hard not to love him.

So, a couple of weeks ago, a friend of mine finished Hush Hush and just wouldn't shut up about how great it was. She claimed that it was just up my ally and that she swore on her grave that I would love it. Now, to be honest, I actually had heard of and had considered reading it a couple of times in the past, I just never got around to it. So, last weekend I gave it a shot. I started it really late on a Saturday night, so I had no intention of reading it in one go, but the book was just so addicting that i couldn't put it down. The next thing I knew, it was Sunday morning and i was finished (and exahsted). It was just such an exciting read, and the romance in the novel was kind of cute too. But honestly, if you were to ask me to give you a list of reasons to read this book, I'd give you one word:Patch.

I've first read this back in 2009, months after it came out. I loved it from my first read. Then I read it again a few months later, and recently, I decided to give it another read, considering that I have now finished a course on Supernatural Literature. Honestly, I was afraid the HUSH HUSH series would have sucked after finishing that course because I wasn't sure if there were any gothic motifs, thus making it reject everything that defines supernatural literature. Fortunately, I was proved wrong. There are actually several reoccurring motifs in this book alone. Then I thought of the next two books in the series (all of which, I've completed on the day they were released), and then remembered huge motifs in those as well. I am very very happy that my favourite book series falls under the definition of supernatural literature :) Patch is the sexiest and most appealing male character I have EVER read in a book. He's cocky, sarcastic, and full of innuendos. Every single time I read this book, I have a huge grin plastered onto my face. He just makes me laugh and I love it. This is one of the most addicting books I have ever read in my life. The first time I read this back in 2009, I finished it in one sitting. This was the first book series in my life that made me rush into Chapters to get the next book the day it came out. And of course, I read through those super quick too. Super pretty cover (some of the editions have a shimmery cover), and with a lot of meaning behind it too. The other books in the series are CRESCENDO, SILENCE, and then in October (!!) FINALE. All of these titles are musical terms and have a lot of meaning towards the book. The only thing that disappointed me was the fact that because I finished the most recent book so quickly, I had to wait a whole year for the next book. But what can I do? Books take a year to turn from a manuscript into a book that hits the shelfs. This is my favourite book and I love, love, love it! I don't think it's the best book I've read, but it's definitely my favourite. I've reread certain scenes many, many times, and it never gets old. I still get sucked into the suspense--though I know exactly what is going to happen next. Must warn the reader though, if you decide to read the second book in the series, CRESCENDO, I HIGHLY suggest you buy the third book, SILENCE, along with it. You will want to have the third book right next to you after you finish the second one ;] I guarentee you won't regret doing so.

I am always interested in reading material on anything supernatural and so I decided to give this book a try. From the first paragraph in the prologue I was not only hooked on the characters, but also smitten with Patch! Becca Fitzpatrick did such a great job with the creation of Patch as a sexy Fallen Angel, that she had me swooning over his character! ( I kept seeing Ian Somerhalder's face in my mind) There is no question, I will be getting the next three books of the series just to see what happens with Patch next. I recommend this book to anyone looking for a little distraction from a 'bad boy' character!

This book had everything that I love while reading. It kept me turning the pages, laughing at how infuriated Nora would get at Patch, drama that had me holding my breath. It gave just the right ammount of detail to try to figure out what was happening along with Nora instead of knowing more than her or less than her. The only question I was left with by the end was: How did it take me so long to finally read this book??

Upon completion of this travesty I remember thinking to myself that this novel could have been cut in half and the story would have still made sense and saved readers a lot of time and ire. It really seems as though the author took a look at the trend in the young adult fiction world for romance between humans and mythical creatures and thought "Hmm, vampires and werewolves are overplayed. What humanoid creature could I use to convey solitude, glory-to-rags theme, and a re-hashed version of the humble princess and mysterious over-protective prince that I can feed to gullible consumers?" The style of narration, plot line, and characters were not memorable. Just try not to make eye contact as the bandwagon trundles along.

Hush, Hush is everything that people says it is and more. It is dark, fantastical, and mesmerizing. A true love-story that will keep you turning the pages until you reach the end.

This was the first book I read about Angels in any way, I was expecting to like it but not love it based on the reviews that I read. This book was absolutely awesome and had me hooked from the moment I started reading. I finshed this book and was on to the next one in no time. I read all 3 books in less than 5 days while working a 40 hour week. Nora and Patch were all I could think about when I was not reading the books, I wanted to get home so that I could finish them. Now that I have I would recommend these books to anyone.
