When I was working in Test Flight at de Havilland Canada during the 1960's, an American engineer succinctly summed up the major problem with the Beaver.
"It's the best bush plane in the world," he explained. Now, Canadians are not used to be told by Americans that they have the best products in the world, or there's a problem with being best.
