This is a fantastic book to have around! This little book gives simple, practical suggestions for living in an Earth-Friendly way. I found the book to be very entertaining and easy to read. The book begins by discussing the myths that float around about who environmentalists are – not all of us are weird! Trask encourages us to make a difference in many aspects of our lives: at work, while building a new home or renovating our existing one, in the garden, while traveling, and in several different ways at home. She also gives information on how to “buy green” and order from environmentally conscious online resources. She talks about how to get involved and provides checklists so that you can keep track of your progress. This is the perfect book for anyone who wants to start doing more than just recycling.
