Jillian Jiggs

I loved this book as a child. My room was always a mess and my Mother was always telling me that i lived in a pig sty. I felt that I could relate to Jillian. I loved the main verse, " Jillian, Jillian, Jillian Jiggs, it looks like your room has been lived in by pigs!" Now I have a little girl of my own and I cant wait to share these fun filled books with her. She loves to be read to and sang to, and these books with the rhyming pages will delight her as they did me.

Phoebe Gilman is an excellent children's writer who knows how to entertain both children and adults. She has created a lively and imaginative character in Jillian Jiggs, who takes everyone who enters her world on an adventurous ride!

I totally recommend this book to all parents to share with their children. All parents and children can relate to this book. It has excellant drawings, just like all of the Pheobe Gilman books. My 2 sons had this book memorized when they were only 2, now that they are 9 and 11 they still love the book, because it brings back great memories of sharing. My boys and I still keep looking for any new books that Ms. Gilman has written and published. I like to give copies of this book away as part of baby gifts to family and friends.

This is a super book that I never get tired of reading to my three kids. We love all Phoebe's books and have never been disappointed by one. She has a magical way of drawing you in and we can't wait to read her latest. These books are great presents.
