A good start to a new to me series. With my catch-up on Harry Dresden complete, I was looking for a new series to invest my time in and this one looks like it will fill the bill. This first person perspective on Jack Reacher's life was for the most part was a well written page turner. The reveal of the final bad guy was not a surprise and a couple of happenings were a bit convenient but that is what suspension of disbelief is all about. Look forward to reading more from Lee Child in the near future.

If you're at all like me you relish the 45mins before bed when you can relax and read a good book. Like me you probably dread the odd occasion when you start a book that doesn't grab you. Sometimes it's good enough to finish sometimes it finds a home on a dusty shelf to be looked at with distane. Perhaps, revisited only to unleash the unpleasant memories of why it was first placed there. Lee Child was recommended to me by a family member. Unlike much of the advice I recieve I am grateful for this. The Killing Floor is a fast paced book with plenty of action and a hint of romance. If you enjoy the craft of story telling Child is an author for you. He is able to lather the pages in frothy detail while still keeping you engaged. He incorporates the drama of Cussler while maintaining a quality of writing closer resembling Ludlum. Intelligent, sexy and fun.

From the first pages Child manages to hook your interest. An excellent book that I couldn't put down. Suspenseful and fast paced it was a a great book.

Oh goody, I found myself another great author. I was so wise to order a few others by Mr. Child at the same time. Don't look for me....I'm reading !

Jack Reacher can be my best bud any day! Another great read from Lee Child - move over Tom Clancy. Good characters and a great plot. Kept me guessing to the end. Looking forward to his next novel.
