    Don't waste your money 1

    I'm really surprised at the great reviews on this book. It's meant for beginers and while the projects are easy I'm surprised at the lack of instruction on some of them. Take the sweater pattern for instance, there is no schematics and lack of measurements. Sure I could figure out the inches based on gauge, but would a brand new knitter? Most of the patterns don't even have a photo attached to it. Why spend time knitting something if you have no idea what it's supposed to look like? Isn't that… + read more

    30 simple and beautiful projects that you can wear or use in everyday's life. The instruction is very easy to follow. It tells you what type of techniques will be using in one project and it even tells you at what page you can fine that certain technique. I have read many knitting books and this one is a best book ever. + read more

    I'm a teenage knitter, and I've found that this book has some of the easiest instructions in all of the books I've read on knitting. It really does have some really easy instructions and the projects are things you could actually wear or use. I would recommend this book to any beginner knitter. It's fantastic. + read more

    This is a fabulous book!! With 30 projects, amazing photographs and easy to understand writing, it is a definite must for any knitter! I have only just started knitting and have read other books (such as Knitting for Dummies), but this one is great--easy read, lovely pictures and can really get a knitter excited and knitting pretty .... + read more
