My only reasoning why this book did so well because... well, it's
Lauren Conrad.... Whoever loves the Hills or loves her will
probably love this book. I picked it up because I was curious
behind the world of reality TV and how it's arranged. I give her
credit for letting me enter that world.
Apart from knowing what goes on in a reality show, that's all there
was to it. You're just reading about girls going to work, school
and clubs.... Until a guy shows up in the story...and then another
guy...and what do you know, you got drama. I wouldn't have minded
it so much if it had a conclusion to it. I read a whole book, got
nothing out of it (Except the glimpse of reality tv) and was left
empty-handed at a resolution.
So if your looking for reality TV in a book, a non-existent plot, a
simple main character, be left empty-handed with a cliffhanger as
an ending, this book is for you.
