When this book first appeared I was tempted to buy it. I was so happy to find a copy in the local library because now I am glad that I did not waste my money on such trash and drivel. The author is so caught up in her own worldly hell of a hole and is so blinded that she cannot see outside of the box. Isn't this what we called the "rat race"? It reminds me of religious fanatics who are so blinded by their faith that they cannot see the true light. She has been completely brainwashed by typical western market economy, capitalism and consumerism. If this represents mainstream thinking of economists today it is no wonder the economy is in such a mess and the outlook for society is so frightening.
