    Manitoba Winter too harsh for "KIA"? 3

    We own a 2007 KIA Sedona LX van purchased in September 2007. As the temperature got colder outside we started plugging in the engine block heater. This is supplied as standard equipment on most vehicles sold in Manitiba. On January 30th of 2008 the service engine light came on. We were told it was because we started the vehicle with the fan on. We never start our vehicles with the fan or the air conditioner on as we feel this puts an unnecessary burden on the alternator. As a result they… read more
