I bought this book a while back and used it only rarely. The
reason? I just can't agree with some of the information they're
feeding people. They slam eggs, which have a lot of nutrients and
LOW saturated fat content, yet they promote the use of fried bacon
in many recipes. Bacon is HIGH in saturated fat, not to mention the
cancer-causing nitrates.
All fats are NOT equal! The book oversimplifies by promoting a
low-fat diet. What's needed is a diet that's low in SATURATED fats.
