    A must read series!
    I've always been a fan of Johanna Lindsey, her novels are so awesome and so fun to read. It does not take long to read her novel. It's simple and straight-forward and direct to the point. She sticks to the plot and thesis of the story and does not lead you off. I highly recommend this book and all her other ones. I promise you won't be dissapointed.

    Disappointing
    This is probably the worst book by Johanna Lindsey that I have ever read. Let me start off by saying that I've always been a consistent Lindsey fan due to the fact that her books are so easy to follow. None of her books have been amazing, but they were satisfying. This book had so much potential, if only Regina stayed mad at Nicholas a little longer because I felt like he got off the hook way too easily. Nicholas's long absence from Regina really made me quite mad at him. And that wasn't even the only thing he did wrong. I cried twice while reading this book, not from happiness or sadness, but rather, from frustration. Nicholas's jealousy was so unfair as he himself flirts outrageously with his many past mistresses, and he even takes the side of one of his mistresses when Regina rightfully asks her to leave. Honestly, I don't even know how the characters fell in love, since they were almost never together. The Malory brothers were introduced in this first book, and I loved them, but they took the attention away from Nicholas. Nicholas has a secret that is making him a jerk but his secret does not make up for the awful husband he is being, and I cannot believe Regina forgave him so easily. By the end of the book, I felt really sorry for Nicholas's step mother, and I really could understand why she would hate her sister. I don't recommend this book, unless you're looking for something to bring out your frustration. I actually considered ripping this book in half by the time I got to the last few chapters, I love my books, so you can probably tell how frustrated I was.

    Looking for the second book?
    The second book in the Anderson-Malory series, 'Tender Rebel,' is actually listed online as 'Tender Revel,' so if you have been unable to find the massmarket version, that is probably why!

    Could Have Been Prologue For Other Malory Novel
    Someday, someone's going to have to explain to me why a mistaken identity or kidnapping is always so prevalent in these historical romance novels. This is one of the few by Johanna Lindsey I wasn't too crazy about. This one felt really more like a stepping stone to introducing the Malory brothers; no surprise really, as most will be featured in their own novel later on. Aside from that, the story is rather plain and spends too much time with the main characters apart and both of them under false knowledge about the other.
