Truthfully, I'm very disappointed. I really love dragons and after reading the summary I was expecting something much different. There was some amount of fun and sexy moments, and it technically had potential to be good. On the practical side, I was left sitting confused and pissed throughout the read and after I've read the last words. It was chaotic, confusing, frustrating (I was always tsk'ing or rolling my eyes at the heroine, didn't click between her and I) and I was left with a lot of major unanswered questions. (I really don't know if there's a sequel and I don't intend to find out.) So overall it was wobbly, it didn't satisfy me and left me running to Chapter to go buy the next Sookie Stackhouse.

This book is the start of the Light Dragons. It looks at Ysolde and Baltic's story. All the other dragons are in the book as well as Jim. I enjoyed the memories of Ysolde and Baltic and of course find Baltic's character to be much different than what you're left thinking in the last silver dragons book (Me and My Shadow). As with all MacAlister's books this one keeps up with the humour - although I think Jim is still the funniest character along with Aisling. The end leaves many loose ends to tie up for the next book. I am looking forward to the next Light Dragons story.

This is an awesome novel written by an awesome writer. I loved it. How she was able to turn such an evil dragon in previous books into a bad boy you love is amazing!
