A co-worker suggested I take a peek at this one - she knew I wasn't
a chef, but liked to dabble a bit in the kitchen - and this book is
right up my alley.
It provides you with a lot of new ideas for lunch, with unique
tastes and ideas I'd never have thought to combine for a brown-bag
experience, but am glad I now do. There are some spectacular
spreads in here ("Crunchy Cheese Spread," springs to mind, which is
a mix of apple, carrot, nut, raisin, and cream cheese), as well as
more complete lunch meal recipes.
If you're tired of sandwiches, there's something in here for you.
There's also a chapter or two on what you're getting from the fast
foods you might otherwise be tempted with, and that's quite
motivating.
