    While trying to solve a brutal murder in her small town, Diana (a direkind who happens to be a volunteer police officer) is forced to team up with Llyer, king of the fairies. As they chase after a crazy vampire the two end up falling for one another despite their differences and fears.

    I liked this story. It was easier to follow than the last one and has me looking forward to the next.
