Mediator #1 Shadowland: #1

by Meg Cabot

Harpercollins Publishers | December 16, 2004 | Trade Paperback

Suze is a mediator -- a liaison between the living and the dead. In other words, she sees dead people. And they won't leave her alone until she helps them resolve their unfinished business with the living. But Jesse, the hot ghost haunting her bedroom, doesn't seem to need her help. Which is a relief, because Suze has just moved to sunny California and plans to start fresh, with trips to the mall instead of the cemetery, and surfing instead of spectral visitations.

But the very first day at her new school, Suze realizes it's not that easy. There's a ghost with revenge on her mind ... and Suze happens to be in the way.

This series was so amazing, I cant put it into words. The whole plot, storyline and just everything about it in general made this book fantastic. Ive read the whole series and out of the many many books ive read, this is by far the BEST. They`re so good, ive read each book in the series twice now, and they STILL tug on my heart strings. I recommend this book to all types of readers, to teens, and tweens. Youll especially enjoy this book if youve enjoyed Meg's other books. I definitley recommend you read the first book before you read the others no matter what, cause you wont know what your missing. I cant say it enough, I absolutley LOVED this series, it just warms my heart in a way that cant be described! On a scale from 1-10, 10 being awesome and 1 being poor, this book would easily be a 15! Please read it! You wont regret it! I promise! And if you read the first and love it, then you MUST buy the second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth ASAP. Cause thats how youll feel- After you finish a book, youll want to read the next ASAP. Freaking amazing!!!!!

This is probably my favourite series of all time aside from Twilight. I felt like I related to Suze's kick butt and independent attitude. Every novel was a new adventure and to be honest, I wish she would keep them coming
