I absolutely love every single book! My favourite is City of Glass, all the books have lots of adventure and very memorable quotes and hilarious lines from the characters.The characters are unique and each teach us a lesson. I would highly recommend the series to anyone who likes fantasy, adventure, Harry Potter, Twilight, and all sorts of other books!

The series becomes a tad bit repetitive. If you're like me and burn through a series this one can be a bit trying. I always come back to it though. I found a needed a break in between to break up the "wait didn't that just happen in the last book". The main char is a tad whinny too. Something will make you come back - but it is like the supporting cast :)

I bought this series with no expectations. LOVE IT! It is a mix of Harry Potter and Twilight done right. I Have already bought #4 and is waiting on #5 to be released. I have also purchased the Infernal Instruments series and cannot wait to read. I recommend this series to anyone who is looking for something fun, exciting and a little dangerous at the same time.!

This is a pretty good series. Its not one of those fantasy magic stories that you have heard or read a million times. Comparing this to Harry Potter and Twilight, I would say this is more like twilight which is why i didn't love it. The characters are very well developed and the series is full of surprises. This series hold praise from Stephenie Meyer of Twilight and Libbra Bray of the Great and Terrible Beauty triology if anyone liked those books you may like this. I prefer the Clockwork Angel because its a little less Twilight than this book. For anyone who loves this triology the author has decided to add a second triology to the mortal instrument series following Simon but i also recently read that it would be also following Clary and Jace rather than just Simon.

After a long list of book reads that left dissapionted and hopeless in the creativeness and uniqueness of Young Adult novels, this series returned the hope and restored the love i have for young adult novels.The characters were brilliantly developed, the plot was new and exciting with a mix of supernatural romance (a favourite in todays novels), and the writting was everything i hoped for and more. It was funny and witty as well as heartwarming. For those of you looking for a review short and sweet and straight to the piont, here it is: this series is about a young girl names clary fray, she thinks shes a normal girl until she see something and someone mysterious at a club with her best friend. It turns out to be that clary is nephilim. A mix of a little bit of family disfunction, family secrets, love trianlges or should i say love square?, angels, demons, secret socities, incest, and good old teenage angst. But in all honesty if you like books that have great characters, great plots along with the potential to make you laugh and cry as well as keeping you intrigued, this book is for you!

These books are great..i could never put them down and are full of action and surprising twists that will keep you wanting more...i am currently reading the newest book "Clockwork Angel" which is the trilogy's prequel, and so far it hasn't disappointed :)

I loved this series - I read through them at a crazy pace because i wanted to see where the story went. I had read this series all the way through more than once and still found it a very good read. Very creative fantasy world with really great charcters

Great books, action packed, and rarely slow. I loved them and read all three books within a week and a half!
