I read this in 2009 and i thought the story was good and different from the first book. After i finsh it i realize that it was my favorite book from the serie so far. it took me a couple of months to read it but i'm happy i did it. I saw the movie and i simply love it. i like that we get to see Jacob spending time with bella. i loved that there a few new character and i like them all. i find that the story was sad but i still like it. i know it not everyone will like this book because of the way the story goes. if you enjoy it good for you.

    New Moon Disappoints!

At a first glance, New Moon is the much-anticipated, exciting, breathtaking sequel to Twilight. When one actually reads the book, they notice that New Moon isn't what it should be. Edward leaves Bella to "keep her safe", and Bella goes insane without him. Then she finds out that the Volturi (vampire killers) are going to kill Edward and Bella must save him.
Although it's written in strong details (much like it's prequel), this sequel disappoints. It portrays Bella as a weak person because of her insanity without her lover, and her depression is unrealistic, if not sickening. It's hard to get through, rather boring, spawned a HORRIBLE movie and doesn't have a nice flow. However, if you want to finish the Twilight series, I would still recommend you read this book because it is true that there are facts in New Moon that you are required to know in order to enjoy the following two novels in the series. I was disappointed by New Moon!

I love the Twilight Saga. I was able to feel Bella's pain and feel her happiness, and that my friend is just good writing.

I was really exciting to go see the movie when it came out and I wasn't disappointed (even if they did change things compared to the book)

K, I literly finished reading this book ten minutes ago, and if you don't like this book, I will be completely shocked. I think it is impossible for sopmeone to think that it was bad. I waited forever on a waiting list for this book, I was NOT disappointed at all. I cannot wait until Eclispe, her next book, to come out.

    Stephenie your amazing ??
