    New Moon Disappoints!

    Bailey Crawly

At a first glance, New Moon is the much-anticipated, exciting, breathtaking sequel to Twilight. When one actually reads the book, they notice that New Moon isn't what it should be. Edward leaves Bella to "keep her safe", and Bella goes insane without him. Then she finds out that the Volturi (vampire killers) are going to kill Edward and Bella must save him.
Although it's written in strong details (much like it's prequel), this sequel disappoints. It portrays Bella as a weak person because of her insanity without her lover, and her depression is unrealistic, if not sickening. It's hard to get through, rather boring, spawned a HORRIBLE movie and doesn't have a nice flow. However, if you want to finish the Twilight series, I would still recommend you read this book because it is true that there are facts in New Moon that you are required to know in order to enjoy the following two novels in the series. I was disappointed by New Moon!

I love the Twilight Saga. I was able to feel Bella's pain and feel her happiness, and that my friend is just good writing.

I was really exciting to go see the movie when it came out and I wasn't disappointed (even if they did change things compared to the book)

Didn't like it as much as Twilight, but still very good

Didn't like it as much as Twilight, but still very good. Different focus for this book.

WARNING: If you haven't yet read this book, you might not want to read the review, as I suppose it could kind of be considered a spoiler.

Edward and the Cullens have left Forks and Bella is devastated. When she finally makes an effort to resume a somewhat normal life, she finds a best friend in Jacob, who thinks of Bella as more than a friend. However, Jake has secrets of his own...

Jenn, I've heard a few people say that. Breaking Dawn was my least favourite, but I can guarantee that has a lot to do with me being Team Jacob. :-)

This was my least favourite of the series...

K, I literly finished reading this book ten minutes ago, and if you don't like this book, I will be completely shocked. I think it is impossible for sopmeone to think that it was bad. I waited forever on a waiting list for this book, I was NOT disappointed at all. I cannot wait until Eclispe, her next book, to come out.
